I love lilacs. We had two bushes in our old yard----and none in this yard. I do miss having bouquets of them in the spring!

Mine are blooming, too! YAY! When my daughter lived with us in Michigan, she just LOVED them! Yesterday, as I was mowing, the wind was blowing the scent toward me, making a chore a pleasant task!

I absolutely love lilacs and their fragrance is so sweet! However, I do not like the bees that they attract. LOL

Ahhh Kathy, Lilacs are one of my favorites! They remind me of home and my Mother and Grandmother...as they always had plenty on their tables when they were in bloom. I have just a teency one right now from a cutting I brought to GA from PA. I hope it gets as big as yours. ;) Happy Friday Friend! ;)~CC Catherine
