I have been married for 41 years to the man who is still the love of my life, Sandy. He retired in 2008. We love to travel together and spend as much time as life allows with our family. I love to decorate, entertain, cook and bake, garden, and paint. We have two children, a son and a daughter and three precious granddaughters. We are blessed to have a loving son-in-law, but we are saddened beyond description to have lost our beautiful daughter-in-law on December 23, 2010 following the emergency delivery of our newest granddaughter. In spite of our loss, I'm a blessed woman - my cup runneth over!

Wow, what a beautiful video...I'm not sure I understand it exactly...but I see the umbrella of God over them...whether He took them home to heaven, or He saved them, is unclear to me. I'll watch again tomorrow, when I'm not so tired, and perhaps it will be clear.
Oh! kathy, What an awesome song and video, just so powerful. My daughter just met Natalie Grant at a woman's conference and she said that Natalie was one of the nicest persons. Thank you for sharing, Blessings, Sue
Hello Kathy, so nice to meet you. I'm coming over from Spiritual Sundays, where I posted for the first time. I'm a single mom from south Texas, working fulltime and about to relocation with my 2 chickies (Vinny 16 yrs & Gina 14 yrs). I sincerely enjoyed your blog. Congratulations on a long-term marriage. It is truly a blessing!! As for me, I am waiting to "date" until my kids graduate high-school. I have taken my role and responsibility as a "mother" seriously, so all of my effort goes into ensuring that God is the center of our life.
HI Kathy! I can't view the video on my laptop - somehow I can't get the Adobe Flash to work. I'm sure it was beautiful! Thank you so for popping in to see me. Can you believe it's November? Be a sweetie, Shelia ;)

Thanks for sharing. I see we have a couple things in common. Hubby and I retired in 2008, as well, and also enjoy traveling these days.
Blessings to you on this Sunday.
