Vintage Pink

It's Pink Saturday!

Visit Beverly, How Sweet The Sound, for a list of participants with lots of beautiful pink things to see.

Vintage cane chair with pink roses on the seat...

Mayfair pink Open Rose pattern Depression Glass biscuit jar...

I tried to get a close pic of the pattern on the jar but it's still difficult to see.

Mayfair pink Open Rose pattern Depression Glass sugar bowl...

Jeannette Pink Depression Glass, Holiday pattern, creamer and open sugar bowl...

...and matching plate.

I'm not sure what the purpose of this little plate was, but I love it.  The back identifies it as being made by CHASE, hand painted in Japan...

This 10" plate was obviously hand painted but bears no identifying marks...

This 6" plate was made in Austria...

I have no info about this vase at all.  It belonged to my mother-in-law and after her death my father-in-law gave it to me for Mother's Day - I cherish it...

Fenton Magnolia pattern pink hobnail 11 inch vase...

My grandmother's handmade 1930's Sunbonnet Quilt ...

My grandmother's handmade rose crocheted pillow cases...

Pink floral vintage pearls...

Just a little Spring tease...can't wait for pink Bleeding Heart!!!

What would life be, if we couldn't wear Pink? My favorite are the pearls. Have a nice week-end.

Oh, how I love that vase! You definitely need to do some research on it. It looks 19th C to me, might be earlier.

Happy Pink Saturday & Happy New Year!

Oooo Kathy, so many pretty things to love! I love all the glassware. And I'm partial to pretty and aged plates, too. The cupids vase your F-I-L gave you looks a little like a Sevres piece ($$$$). I'd cherish it, too, even if it's monetary value were nothing. I love your grandma's Sunbonnet Sue quilt and her beautiful crocheted roses pillow case. Those take a lot of time to make!
Happy Pink Saturday~
p.s. the pearls were pretty, too!

I'm a day late and a dollar short☺ Was able to leave some messages for Pink Saturday yesterday and finishing up today. Over the holidays I was MIA from PS and really missed it but knew that I wouldn't be able to visit many blogs. I'm back today and must say that it feels so good to visit familiar places - like coming home again.

Today you made my little, pinkie ♥ smile. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely blog. Hoping this next week is filled with sunshine and the laughter of friends and family☺
