An Opportunity

As a subscriber to his web site, I received an e-mail this evening from the author Max Lucado. He is seeking those willing to commit to pray for President Elect Obama during these final days before taking office and during what is sure to be difficult days during his presidency. I thought some of you might be interested in this ministry whether you voted for him or not. I can't imagine a more difficult or stressful job in the world than to be President of the United States!

You are so right. I don't think there is another job out there that is this difficult. I do pray for our president now and will pray for President Elect Obama once he is sworn into office. What I find so exciting about all of this, is that we are literally witnessing history...
Enjoy your day!

Thanks my friend for posting this, I too recieved this email. I have been praying even before the election was over for whomever would win, that they would trust the Lord Our God and His leading in the daily Running of this great country.
I can't imagine having this job or it's responsibilities!! It is a heavy burden for anyone to bear, and to think that you would even attempt it without the Lord's wisdom, knowledge, strength and power would be ridiculous!!

If we voted for him or not, we NEED to pray for him. God aloud him to be President--no matter how we voted.

I must admit that I didn't vote for him, but he IS our new president and I will be praying for him. He and our wonderful country need all of our prayers for sure.

Hugs!
