I thought these pictures were kind of cool. They were taken today from an upper floor of a hotel on Wikiki Beach. My nephew is working on a movie there starring George Clooney. I recieved several texts from him today - my nephew, not George! He and the crew were evacuated to upper levels and watched the changes in the ocean from the windows. Thank God the tsunami was far less serious that it could have been and those gorgeous treasures of beaches were not damaged and there were no injuries or loss of life or even business. George Clooney is one beautiful man so, though concerned about my sweet nephew as I was, I told him to make sure to take care of George at all cost...he's a national treasure!
This pictures shows the ocean as it was being drawn out to sea before the surge.
This picture shows the thankfully small surge of water right up to the hotel - not much beach left for a while today.
Finally, I just noticed that this if my 400th post! Time flies when you're having fun! Have a beautiful new week, Ladies!

Hi Kathy! Oh, Hallelujah your nephew and George are okay! That was scary. We have a nephew and his family living there and was concerned for them too but again God is good and watched after them.
Thank you so much for popping in to see me and congratulations on your 400th post!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Wow! 400 posts! and can't he get us a luncheon with George??
My sister just got back from Hawaii and a few years ago while she was there they had an earthquake. It damaged the building they were in and all communication was cut off for hours. That's a scarry thing when you don't know what is happening.
Having met George a couple of times I can attest is is gorgeous.
I too and thankful that Hawaii was spared... So many things happening in our world lately...
Those are amazing pictures, and I am glad that your nephew and George are okay! I can't imagine what that must've felt like, to be there with the threat of the tsunami.
Congratulations on your 400th post, Kathy!
wow, they are very blessed to be safe.
on a side note, why the heck aren't you there with your nephew? you could pretend to be his helper! LOL
Beautiful interesting photos. And looks like he took good care of George. He looked as good as ever at the Oscars last night. lol
