My Completed Guest Room

Our son Jacob moved out into his own house two years ago and he was married last June (and expecting a baby December 26!)  Within a week I had his room painted and furniture ordered.  I've posted before about the project.  But I couldn't find a few things to finish the room, like a chandelier, some pictures, and a chair.  It's taken me a while but I'm finally finished with the guest room.  I may still tweak the drapes a little and make some lavender pillows for the bed but I'm happy with it the way it is.  I took some of the pics with a flash and some without.  I prefer the softness of the ones without the flash, but you can't see a lot of detail in  the darker pics so I've included some of both.

Kathy, the room looks amazing. You are a wonderful painter.
I just asked Ceekay about you the other day. I hope all is going well for you.
Retirement is not for the faint of heart. I hope you're both enjoying it as much as we are.
Happy Anniversary to you both!

Wow, you went from drab to dreamy with this one! Are the flowers handpainted or something else? For some reason your words are almost the same color as your background on my screen, so I don't know if I see the colors of your new room right or not. I can tell it used to be blue.
