Happy Easter From Our Tiniest Bunny

HAPPY EASTER FROM SOME-BUNNY SPECIAL!!!

This little bunny is Amelia, our newest granddaughter.  Many of you have been praying for her and her daddy since Christmas 2010 when our son lost his beautiful 29 year old wife during the birth of their first child.  Amelia is a tremendous blessing for all of us, especially her daddy.  Life has settled down a bit, however we're still in that mode of not being able to believe all this has happened.  It's been 4 months since Jen died and little Amelia entered our lives.  Our son Jacob is flourishing in his role as a new father, though he grieves terribly for Jenni.  But God is good and He has allowed all of to see that there is light and joy and life at the end of the tunnel.  Little Amelia is the happiest and most contented baby I've ever seen...and of course her Mimi thinks she's just about the most beautiful too!

I hope to post more often again now - I've missed interaction with all of you.  And I am so grateful for your love, prayers, and concern for our family.  May each of you be blessed this Easter by the renewal of nature around us and the joy that only God can provide!

It is so nice to hear from you, Kathy, and to see how little Amelia is thriving. What a joy she is to you and your family, and I am sure you are a wonderful Mimi! The ache in your hearts wil always remain, but I am sure Amelia will grow up knowing all about her beautiful mommy. Because we celebrate Christ's resurrection every Easter (and every day) there is the hope of Amelia and Jen being reunited someday. What a glorious day that will be!

Happy Easter to each of you; may the love and joy of Jesus be with you!

Hi Kathy, I'm sure you thought I fell off the face of the earth. I, like you, have found little time to blog since December; even less than in 2010. I think I told you my mother had a stroke...so traveling much to help her and all. I still have NOT forgotten about my email to you about doing a silent auction in honor of Amelia...I actually mentioned it on my post I wrote nearly two months ago. I now need to buckle myself in the mode so I can get the post put together. My thoughts are that I'm purging my gift closet, and may include some of those items in there too. Whatever I raise $$$ wise, goes in Amelia's fund to help with whatever her needs are. I want to make a really SPECIAL tea cozey for the silent auction...I'm going to call it "Jenni's Hope for Amelia" tea cozey. I'm also going to put a few tea cups in the silent auction too...among some other things. Once I get the post created...I'll make sure to send you the hyperlink so you can email it out to anyone you think may want to participate to help raise some $$ for Amelia's future needs or wants. I think of you often...and am praying we can reconnect in email too. My mom is now WALKING and pulling weeds in her own garden. GOD IS FAITHFUL...I spent an entire week there last week to help her with some gardening while there. XOXO, hugs friend. Give a special kiss to Amelia for me.
