Dressed For Tea!

Tea for little ladies...

For my granddaughter's third birthday my daughter hosted a little girls tea party. I decorated brimmed hats with roses for each girl to wear with their pretty party dresses. Each little girl received her own porcelain tea cup to paint at the party. The party favors were little purses filled with clear nail polish, white gloves, tiny soft stuffed bunnies, and some yummy treats. It was a lovely day and, to date, my favorite tea party! I included these pics for my week five posting for "Dressed To A Tea" Gracious Hospitality challenge because I think these precious little girls looked like little dolls at their special tea party!

Tea for grown up ladies...
My favorite jacket to wear to tea is this soft white lace.

30 Days 30 Photos - Day 14

These vintage pearls are just the thing to wear to a grown up tea!

I wear my Pandora bracelet anywhere special I go. My sister-in-law (and best friend) and I bought bracelets and one matching shell charm on a beach trip we took together in 2007.

I love these heels. Even though they are not vintage, they have a vintage feel. The color is pewter and they are covered with understated beading. Love 'em even though they hurt... sometimes pain is worth it!

A perfectly wonderful tea party. Those little girls do look angelic and I am certain that they may well remember the day. I really think that your lace jacket is perfect for a tea party afternoon. Why is it that all the pretty shoes hurt like the dickens?

Oh My....I loved your tea party. My grand-daughter will be three in June and we will fly to visit her for that special day. I gave her a tea set for her first birthday that looks like fiesta ware. Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Come back...ya' hear. ~ Lynn

How priceless, I can't wait for my granddaughter to be 3 so I can host a girls tea party...what a wonderful idea, they look like they are having a wonderful time. Your shoes are very pretty but I have gotten old enough that I opt for comfort but you go girl! :)

Thanks Mimi for visiting my blog and for the kind comments about my daughter! I saw on your profile that you enjoy David Phelps. Isn't he the one that was with the Gaither's? I thought he had a wonderful voice, but haven't heard his solo stuff...I'll have to check that out! :) Rhonda
