Pam at Gray Like Snuffie is hosting a blog-a-thon: The A B C's of the Word. Bloggers post a Bible verse beginning with the next letter of the alphabet each Thursday. Today's letter is "G".
"God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars." Genesis 1:16
If you believe that God created the sun, the moon, and the stars, believe that He is worthy to be in control of your life!

Hi Kathy
Thanks for visiting my blog. I sure hope you'll come again...you're always welcome. That's what I love about blogging - getting to meet people from all across the country and around the world.
I enjoyed my visit here too. You have a very nice blog. We have alot in common. To name just a few - My full name is Kathy (although I prefer Kat or KD), my grandchildren (9!) call me MeMe, I have a granddaughter named Sydney, etc. etc.
Hugs!
Kat
(ps...love the bible verse today)
Welcome Kathy, I will certainly add you to our list. I'm so excited you're going to take part. This idea that God gave me is blessing me so much. Maybe the G in my blog name snuck into your head but gentle heads up---we're on F this week. :) I'm coming back to read more about you. I LOVE meeting wonderful ladies from all over through this blogging world. I am still rather new to it.
Well this is strange. I came to post and there is a comment I made to you last week. CRAZY computer world. Great reminder through your scripture today. Very good thought to go with it. Hope you have a wonderful day Kathy!
HI Kathy,
What a wonderful way to look at this scripture. I don't think I would have ever had that thought, but He is able to do...
Have a wonderful blessed day.
Cori G.
God is worthy! Have a wonderful day Kathy!
Hi Kathy, How are you doing? I like this post! I will have to do this next week...thanks for posting about it! Nancy
I love your post and the thought you connected to the verse! I admit it's a struggle for me alot of the time to give God the control of my life. He's in control of it anyway, so there is no need to struggle, it just steals my peace. I imagine God shaking His head and saying "silly child, why do you struggle against Me so?"
The God of the universe spoke and it came to pass!! The one who created the heavens and the earth!! Hallelujah, He cares for me!!
What a lovely home your parents have! Happy Pink Saturday!
