Melissa, at The Inspired Room, has written a beautiful list of 20 things she loves about Autumn. She has suggested that others might like to do the same. If you would like to see the lists of what other blogger's enjoy about Autumn visit Melissa's beautiful blog.
Actually, I have never enjoyed Autumn! As I have confessed more than once in my postings, it is not actually that I don't enjoy Autumn, it is that I do not enjoy what follows here in Michigan. I am a warm weather girl and do not enjoy winter at all. However, I truly wish to FIND something to enjoy about everything in God's beautiful creation. So, for that reason, I have really thought about it and much to my surprise I have a list of 20 Little Things To Treasure In Autumn to add to the list contributors on Melissa's site! Think about your list and add it to the Mr. Linky you will find there.
20 Little Things I Treasure About Autumn
1. brightly colored leaves
2. the sound of geese over head
3. pumpkins, carved or not!
4. fresh chilled apple cider at the mill
5. warm pumpkin bread or muffins
6. pumpkin pie with whipped cream
7. Thanksgiving with family
8. thinking and planning ahead to Christmas
9. a fire in the fireplace
10. homemade soups, stews, and chili
11. knitting thick warm throws
12. hot cranberry spiced apple cider
13. a trip to our cottage in northern Michigan
14. jeans and blazers
15. cinnamon spiced candles
16. our local Fall Festival
17. electric blankets!
18. flannel sheets
19. fire roasted corn on the cob
20. hot chocolate with lots of marshmallows

There are several things that I like about the fall and most of them have to do with family!!
Our Wedding Day, Sept. 23, my oldest daughters birthday,(4yr.later),my son-in-laws birthday, and my grandson, Jacobs birthday!!
Let the celebrations begin!!!
Hot chocolate with marshmallows, perfect! I am a Michigander too and miss the lake. Love your list!
Oh, I like your list! Although I'm always sad to see summer go, it helps to think on the wonderful things about autumn!
Blessings,
~Tammy

I am glad you stopped by, I like your list too, actually I realized that all of us basically love the same thing - a cozy home and family time.
I just love your background ;D
Enjoy your season. Suzy
Thank you for the comments on my blog! I don't have many readers yet but with the help of list and links to other sites hopefully that will change. I love all the pictures of your family on the sidebar! Especially the feet pictures!!
Blessed Be!
I love all those things, too.
I've been gone and just read your painting post. Girl, I would have left the house not just gone to the other end. You've got a gem of a hubby. Glad it turned out just right. Can't wait to see it.
Beautiful list. I love the Fall. Happy Tuesday. :)
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and commenting. I love your list of fall fun... you reminded me that I really want to invest in a heated blanket this year... =) Happy Tuesday!
Your list is fabulous as well! The cranberry spiced apple cider sounds amazing! I can understand you not liking autumn with the cold winters not far behind. I felt the same way when we lived in Iowa. Thank you for stopping by my blog.
Haope you have a beautiful week,
Jen
that's a great list. i love that you found things to enjoy about a season you normally don't :O)
That's a good list! Warm pumpkin bread, mmmmmm.
Love the photos of you and your husband on the side bar!
I agree...I am a warm weather girl. My hubby is from the east coast and I did not like going there in winter. But so many beautiful places to live have those kind of winters. But like you said there STILL ARE REASONS TO BE THANKFUL. I enjoyed reading yours. Wendy
I am glad you made your list and found beauty in spite of what might follow! Isn't that one of the great lessons of life? We dread what is to come sometimes and forget to notice the beauty of today? Great lesson, thanks for making me think about that today!
Love your list!
Fall blessings,
Melissa
You're a brave girl to forge ahead with your list. I know what you mean about "what follows." Let's pray that we all have a nice long fall...say into February or March?
Love your list. Mmmmmm, fire roasted corn on the cob. Good one!
Your christmas bug is cute, 92 days till christmas, now I am having an anxiety attack.

Thanks for stopping by and dropping me a line at B&K. It's fun to see how many similarities are on all of our lists. One thing I think would be awesome from your list is listening to the geese!
And now, enjoy fall and don't think about what comes next (aka: winter!)
Mmmmm! Cranberry spiced apple cider...do you have a recipe?
My sympathy to you for what you endure during a Michigan winter...you do know there are warmer states with no snow, right?! LOL!
I love your background stationary, very pretty!
HAPPY AUTUMN!
I don't like winter either. Wouldn't it be great if we could skip winter and just go right into spring. Love your list and yes pumpkin bread and hot chocolate topped with lots of marshmalows.
Thank you.
Hello KAthy,

Your list is great. I can't wait to see the new family room walls! I will be back on Friday.
Have a blessed day!

Hi Kathy,
I love your list. I am from NY and I lived in Chicago. I love the change of season, but not for the long haul and a long haul it is. The Chicago weather, I thought, was brutal. I can just imagine in Michigan. I hope you can enjoy as much of the Autumn as you can!
Corinne
