"Z"

Pam at Gray Like Snuffie is hosting 'The A B C's of the Word'. Participants post a Bible verse using the next letter of the alphabet each Thursday. Today's letter is "Z". Yeah! We've made it all the way through the alphabet!

"Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be

lacking in Zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in
affliction, faithful in prayer."
Romans 12:10-12

Love the Bible verse. Beautiful.

hmmm, keep your fervor, serving the Lord....wonder if those times when the zeal seems weak could be reversed with more service...no matter what that is, feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, praying... hmmm

When we realize how much He loved us, we then love Him, and oh how sweet that zeal can be! ;-)

Blessings Kathy...I love your ZEAL!

I overlooked this verse in ZEAL but now see it was meant for me! For us to love one another takes devotion and honoring others above ourselves.
Having a PASSION because as we serve others we serve unto the Lord! We must energize our spiritual fervor(yeah)! The winning formula is spelled out so well right here:

Be JOY full in HOPE

PATIENT in affliction

FAITHFUL in Prayer!

I just need equal energy for the ZEAL!!! Thanks so much Kathy!(hugs)

Love today's Verse Kathy... I happen to know a man named Zeal and he could use our prayers. He's in a nursing home in FL, a friend of mines Dad. He has dementia really badly. Thanks for the encouraging word today! ~CC Catherine

Hi Kathy,
I'm so late in getting over here, but better late than never as they say.
I just love your zeal! I sometimes wonder what the world would look llike if we honored one another as God commands us to do. Wouldn't the world be a much better place?
Thanks for the encouragement this evening! Now I have to go check out your desserts...yum!
